A shot of the spiral, which consisted of 3 in-going and 3 out-going spirals.
Me, entering the "spiral of death," unable to stay in touch with race winner Jenni Gaertner.

One of the race promoters, suffering after a long morning of course set-up.
Kevin Bradford-Parish, the Men's A winner made our heinous "run-up" look too easy.
We ladies had to suffer too.
A 'cross run-up, Palouse-style.
The shorter, and easier, of our two run-ups.
We had a pretty good turnout.
Our race went off fairly well today, though there were some times when we were scrambling. We were pretty shocked with the turnout of 65 racers, as we would have been happy with 40.
